The June meeting is June 15, 2021 @ 7pm. Please come out - we are outdoors, so if you are vaccinated no mask is required but we still must maintain 6 feet distance from each other.

Fishing has been ok in the Catskills. The bugs have arrived, and March Browns and all sorts of Caddis have been hatching. The west branch is finally where you can wade and dry fly fish. Caddis is the ticket right now on the upper West branch. The East Branch you are able to wade again, with March browns and Caddis hatching. The Beaver kill and Willow are in great shape, with March browns and caddis on the water. Finally if you come up to fish, do not forget your NYS freshwater permit.. The game wardens are out. In fact, Stan and I got checked last weekend at Junction Pool..

One last thing -  If you plan to venture into the woods, remember that spring turkey season is currently underway sunrise to noon.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the June Meeting.
